Assessment week went really well and we are working hard finishing our work books and our fantastic Art Project!! We are also busy rehearsing for our end of the year school show. It’s going to be GREAT.
We can’t wait for tomorrow to celebrate “Dia da Criança”.
We’re going to have so much fun!
Reception News (4 Year Olds)
We ended our last assessment week and now it’s time for fun fun fun! Next week an artist will visit our classroom and on the first of June we are going to celebrate the ‘International Children’s Day’. We are all different, but we all have one thing that’s the same…
I am different from my head to my toes (point to yourself then to head and toes)
I am different from my eyes to my nose (point to yourself then eyes and nose)
I come from a place that is far and wide (point to yourself then spread arms wide open)
A place where we all smile instead of cry (act like you are tracing your lips into a smile and bring hands down eyes as if you were crying)
I am very different as you can see (point to yourself then at a friend)
But I still have a lot of love in me! (point to yourself place hand over the heart then hug yourself)
Year 1 News (5 Year Olds)
Dear Parents: Could you please make sure that your child practices this song with you at home. Thank You.
Graduation Song:
We’re graduating into our future,
Anticipating only the best.
Spreading our wings now,
We’ll do great things now,
Meet every challenge,
Pass every test.
We’ll overcome what-
ever life hands us,
Use what we learned here
For our success.
We’ll bloom wherever
Our journey lands us,
Reaching our goal of
Sweet happiness.
Friendships unbroken
Are what we made here:
Though words aren’t spoken,
Feelings are strong.
Memories we treasure
Tie us together,
Recalling pleasure
All our lives long.
We’re thankful for our
Good education:
Our school and teacher’s
Are second to none.
We’d like to give them
Appreciation:
We learned a lot, and
We thank everyone.
We learned a lot, and
We thank everyone.
